Nguyen Van Dung, 42, inspects x-rays of his youngest son's bones in Danang, Vietnam, on August 8, 2012, with his wife, Luu Thi Thu, and son, Van Dung Tuan Tu, in the background. Dung has worked at the Danang airport since 1997, and ate fish caught in dioxin-contaminated ponds on the airport grounds for many years with his family. Since his tenure at the airport, Dung and his wife have had two children born with physical deformities.
